Doing this is so powerful because you are putting it in perspective. You are writing the goals that you want to accomplish.
The next thing you need to do is to plan the steps you will take.
For example, if you want to improve your finances, you may plot out the times you will receive your income and put a certain amount that you want to save. By following your plan, you will definitely have the fix amount at the end of 6 months.
Third is to improve your mindset. You can achieve this by reading books or listening to motivational videos. Having the right mindset will help you to stay consistent in doing the things that will help you to reach your dreams.
Fourth is to be free from worries. It might be difficult to separate work life from family life but you need to put the boundaries early on. When you are at home, don’t think about anything related to your work or career. When you are in your workplace, don’t drift to think about your family or about the things you need to do at home. Put your 100% focus on where you are currently at.
Fifth. Live below your means. If you are living below what you can afford, you will have lesser stuff at home. You can manage your money well and you won’t put unnecessary items in your room. I am still renting a room that is close to my work and I am grateful that I don’t buy as much things that I don’t need. I go home every weekend and I tend to stay in another house of my parents. Having this experience of living by myself everyday is a great eye opening. I was able to reflect more as I have more time to be by myself. I was also becoming more independent as the years go by.
Sixth is to visualize the things that you want in your life. If you want to have a great relationship to those around you, visualize that it is actually happening. If you want to not worry about anything, visualize that you are being free from any worries in this world. If you can control your thoughts, you can achieve all the dreams you set for yourself.
